Isaak Yudovich Ozimov ou simplesmeste Isaac Asimov, russo da cidade de Petrtovich nascido entre 04/10/1919 e 02/01/1920. Ratificado como americano, foi um grande escritor e bioquimico, tendo grande importancia nas duas areas.

Como bioquímico escreveu varios tratados e pesquisas, atuou como um divulgador científico e de descobertas científicas. Como escritor escreveu sobre temas de ficção cientifica (sci-fi), e em muitas dessas verdadeiras odisséias escritas é possivel ver sua preoculpação em divulgar a ciência e as atuais descobertas e teorias em que algumas postumamente foram confirmadas. Entre os considerados pais do gênero sci-fi esta Asimov, além de Robert A. Heinlein escritor de "O Dia Depois De Amanhã" "The day after tomorrow - 1941" "tropas estelares" "Starship Troopers - 1959" e "Friday - 1982" (apenas uma observação com spoiler Friday é um romance que fala de uma inteligência artificial, e na saga homem de ferro da Marvel e Marvels estúdios e principalmente no filme "Avengers - Age of Ultron - 2015" após usar a inteligencia artificial Jarvis, Tony Stark o perde subistituindo por uma outra inteligência artificial chamada Friday 'Sexta-feira em português', O MCU não admitiu a referência mas está muito na cara que é só mais um dos easter eggs da saga). O terceiro grande nome do sci-fi é o diretor Artur C. Clarke escritor de "2001 a space odissey - 1968" (que dispensa apresentações), e "The Sentinel 1951".

Entre as grandes obras de Asimov está a série "Foudation" ou como é conhecida "trilogia fundação" que deu origem a séria fundação que foi publicada originalmente entre 1942 e 1986. Alem também da série império galactico que gerou também a série Robos. Além de cerca de 500 volumes escritos, 90.000 cartas, um asteróide com seu nome (5020 Asimov - 1981). E um robo fantástico produzido pela Honda em 28/11/2011 com o nome de Asimo. E centenas de outras obras influênciadas por seu trabalho.

Biografia

Isaak Yudovich Ozimov nasceu em Petrovich uma subdivisão governamental de Gommel a oeste da antiga URSS, atualmente na Russia com o nome de Oblast de Smolenk, próximo a fronteira com a Bielorussia.

Filho de Judah Ozimov e Anna Rachel Berman Ozimov (etimológicamente Ozimov vem de ozimiye, que era um tipo de cereal que seu avô negociava, Mas devido a imigração para os Estados Unidos quando Isaak tinha 3 anos e a dificuldade dos americanos em dizer Ozimov, passaram a se chamar Asimov).

Nascido entre 04/10/1919 e 02/01/1920, isso porque em sua cidade natal predominava a igreja Ortodoxa, que utilizava o calendário hebráico enquanto que no oeste europeu e no continente americano já se utilizava o calendário juliano. Porém Asimov sempre comemorou seu aniversário em 02 de janeiro.

Chegou nos EUA em 1923 onde foi morar em Nova York no Brooklin onde sempre viveu. Alguns atribuem essa caracteistica de não viajar muito ao medo de voar. Apesar de ter servido o exercito e lutado na 2ª guerra onde ficou 3 anos na Naval Air Experimental Station.

Cursou a universidade de Columbia em 1939 e conseguiu seu PhD em Bioquimica em 1948. Em 1958 entrou para a Universidade de medicina de Boston como professor associado onde começou a escrever artigos e em 1979 se tonou professor catedrático seus arquivos se encontra no Mugar Memorial Library. A colecção preenche 464 caixas em 71 metros de prateleira.

Casou-se com a canadense Gertrude Bluguerman de 1942 a 1973. Mais tarde se separou casando em 1973 com a psiquiatra Janet Opal Asimov que também era escritora conhecida como J. O. Jeppson (falecida em 25 de fevereiro de 2019).

Isaac Asimov morreu em 1992 por infecção renal e falha cardiaca complicada pela HIV, adquirida por um processo de transfusão de sangue resultado de uma operação de bypass em 1983.

É muito grande a lista dos trabalhos de Asimov, pois além das obras de conteúdo sci-fi existe também livros de divulgação.     No geral para separar, os livros da editora Doubleday (atual knopfdoubleday, que já publicou livros de Dan Brown, Stephen King, e alguns do Paulo Coelho) são de ficção científica, as demais editoras em geral são livros de divulgação científica. Apesar de ter falecido em 06/04/1992, alguns livros só foram publicados após sua morte.

    Filmes

    Em geral não se ha muitos filmes dietamente retirados das obras de Asimov, suas idias influenciaram outros trabalhos muito importante. A dificuldade do trabalho está em que no geral são séries de livros, talves não se tenha um publico para ver, a exemplo dessa dificuldade em 2017 a Apple watch divulgou que seia poduzida a série "Fundação", porém até esse momento 12/2019, ñão temos uma data para esse lançamento ou se quer se estão continuando os trabalhos

    abaixo alguns trabalhos que deram certo, ou pelo menos sairam do papel, um destaque para filme "Eu, Robo - de 2004", esse atendeu e superou as expectativas, é muito bom, deixo aqui a dica para quem quiser assistir.

  • Eu, Robô
  • Sinopse : Em 2035 a existência de robôs é algo corriqueiro, sendo usados constantemente como empregados e assistentes dos humanos. Os robôs possuem um código de programação chamado Lei dos Robóticos, que impede que façam mal a um ser humano. Esta lei parece ter sido quebrada quando o Dr. Miles aparece morto e o principal suspeito de ter cometido o crime é justamente o robô Sonny. Caso Sonny realmente seja o culpado, a possibilidade dos robôs terem encontrado um meio de quebrarem a Lei dos Robóticos pode permitir que eles dominem o planeta, já que nada mais poderia impedi-los de subjugar os seres humanos. Para investigar o caso é chamado o detetive Del Spooner (Will Smith) que, com a ajuda da Dra. Susan Calvin (Bridget Monayhan), precisam desvendar o que realmente aconteceu.

  • O Homem Bicentenário
  • Sinopse : Em 2005, uma família americana compra um novo utensílio doméstico: o robô chamado Andrew (Robin Williams), para realizar tarefas domésticas simples. Entretanto, aos poucos o robô vai aprensentando traços característicos do ser humano, como curiosidade, inteligência e personalidade própria. o início da saga de Andrew em busca de liberdade e de se tornar, na medida do possível, humano.

  • Nightfall
  • Sinopse : Quando os seis sóis de um planeta distante desaparecem lentamente, a população está sobrecarregada com medo e superstição.

  • Gandahar: Os Anos de Luz
  • Sinopse : Uma misteriosa e terrível ameaça paira sobre Gandahar, a terra do prazer de viver e de amar, governada por Ambisextra e seu Conselho de Mulheres sediado em Jasper - uma cidade com a forma de um corpo feminino. Syl, belo e jovem servo, é instruído a viajar para descobrir quem seria cruel e ousado o bastante para matar os pássaros-espelho, guardiões das fronteiras de Gandahar. Sua jornada será difícil e perigosa. Logo de início, ele terá de se engajar numa batalha com pássaros gigantes, apenas para, em seguida, conhecer os assustadores Transforms, vítimas de malsucedidas experiências genéticas. Mas nada disso é o verdadeiro perigo que ameaça Gandahar e é o que Syl terá de descobrir.

  • O Fim da Eternidade



  • Sinopse: Em “O Fim da Eternidade” temos o Técnico Andrew Harlan, um Eterno. Esse é o nome das pessoas que dominam a tecnologia das viagens no tempo e, portanto, o rumo da História, ao efetuarem pequenas alterações que buscam o aperfeiçoamento da raça humana. Condicionado por um treinamento bastante focado, Harlan aprendeu a deixar as emoções de lado na hora de fazer o seu trabalho.Até que ele se apaixona por uma mulher. E ela nem ao menos é uma Eterna.

    São varios os trabalhos desse gênio visionário, encontramos referências de seus trabalhos até hoje em novas produções. Ver o futuro, materializar, e torna-lo real, é trabalho para as grandes mentes. Assim como não é possivel falar da inovação de Steve Jobs sem falar dos trabalhos de Ada Lovelace. Não é possivél falar de sci-fi sem falar de Issac Asimov.
